Kinversam
Hi All, Just picked up my first EC from Chris Algar a few weeks ago, it's a tidy (to me) 5-fold Lachenel 48-key, black wooden ends, steel reeds and (I think) nickel buttons. It has lost its outside serial number but opening it up it is 37755. Having a go at tunes for a Ceilidh band, would be lovely to know an estimated date? Cheers, Sam

That'd be the latter part of 1899 Sam.
fatt_mazio
Just got a 'tina that I believe is a Lachenal, 48b tutor, serial number 21163 - any idea on date? Needs a little work but enjoying it so far!

fatt_mazio
Thanks Stephen. Also happened upon my buddy's - number 18463 - though it looks remarkably more weathered than mine. Estimate on a date? Thanks again.

Eddy
Hi folks I would be grateful if you could give me a date for my Lachenal English Edeophone; 48 buttons, treble, raised ebony wood ends and steel reeds. It has the number 57529 (1920?) Best Regards Eddy
wes williams
We would estimate Edeophone English 57529 as circa 1920.
