David Barnert Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 (edited) Continuing from another thread. It's nice to know who to look for in advance. We already know that Larry, Me, Rich, and Robin (lildog...), as well as David Cornell and Tony Hughes from outside c.net are coming. And Jim B isn't. Who else is? C'mon. Fess up. Bob Tedrow Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 I can't go, but I volunteer to send a couple of instruments for inspection. Would anyone care to volunteer to take them?
Mark Evans Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 David, I'm coming on Saturday in spite of the fact that me Darlin' told you I wasn't. She is singing in San Francisco and I, on duty as daddy will have my two brooding "Goths" in tow. Don't know how long I will be allowed to stay however.
BruceB Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 I'm going to try to come up on Saturday too. I also have to bring some stuff up to Hamilton College (near Utica, NY) for my daughter, so maybe I can combine the two trips. They are about equally far from Albany, Bucksteep to the east, Hamilton west. Good to hear that Lynn, Tony & David C. are coming. bruce boysen in NJ
Doug Barr Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Hi all, Doug Barr from NYC (Staten Island) here and I will be there the whole weekend. Howie Leifer is coming up with me and possible Jim Norman. Can't wait to see and hear you all. Cheers Doug
bellowbelle Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 (edited) I plan on being there! At least for Saturday and probably also for Sunday. Doubtful about Friday, but, I haven't quite decided. Edit added: Well, have modified my plans a bit, as mentioned in my post later in this thread. posted later Edited September 13, 2005 by bellowbelle
Ken_Coles Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 I will miss this year, as I will be in Tucson at a meeting. As a consolation I get to visit Kitt Peak as well as the mirror-making facility there (that's telescope mirrors). Play a tune for me and see you next year! Ken Coles
JimLucas Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 As a consolation I get to visit Kitt Peak as well as the mirror-making facility there (that's telescope mirrors).<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Be sure to reflect on what you're missing.
Chris Timson Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Be sure to reflect on what you're missing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jim, Jim, aren't you ever ashamed of yourself? Chris
JimLucas Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Be sure to reflect on what you're missing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jim, Jim, aren't you ever ashamed of yourself? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No time for that... not when there's a new pun to perpetrate.
peverett Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 I'll attend -- hoping for a quorum of Hayden players with whom to swap discoveries.
Perry Werner Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Howdy: New Joisy will be represented (by me) (any other Joisyites?) Look forward to seeing y'all again. See you shortly. Have fun. Perry Werner
Richard Morse Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 (edited) Needless to say, I'll be there.... but one thing that this thread is bringing to light is how many people are planning on showing up only for Saturday. My concern is in having enough chow on hand in case all those folk want some and DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR IT beforehand. Going out for a bite is not really an option (no stores or restaurants nearby). If you would LIKE to partake of the meals there, PLEASE e-mail us at squeeze@buttonbox.com and let us know which meals so that we can work things out with the caterer. Thanks! Animaterra Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Alas! My daughter broke her glasses this weekend, and my son got a stray bill for last semester's books, due Friday, and now I can't afford the Squeeze-In! It's too long a drive for one day, so I'll have to start slipping bills under the mattress for next year. I'll miss you guys!
