LDT
Mine is currently a photmanipulated image of my concertina and a hat I made....I was going through an 'Edwardian' stage when I made it (the hat that is). Had bought a book on Edwardian fashion.
Fiddlehead Fern
Mine is a picture I took of my the scroll of my fiddle against some ferns in the garden. I figured it fit the nae I chose, and I remember playing in those same ferns when I was little, I could curl up right inside and not be seen by passerby..... LDT
and I remember playing in those same ferns when I was little, I could curl up right inside and not be seen by passerby..... I bet passers by wondered how the fern was making music.
Robin Madge
Mine is of me singing n board the Earl of Pembroke in Weymouh Harbour during the summer of 2006. We were on holiday in the area, visited a folk club, and were invited to come and try a bit of shanty singing on board a square-rigger. ragtimer
Mine shows my Bastari vintage 1980 67-key Hayden Duet Bandoneon. Folks may recognize it from NESI 2008 (hey, where are all the NESI debrief postings?) Somewhere is the little Christmas figurine of a boy playing a squeezebox, that I bought in Munich's Weinachtsmarkt two years ago. Maybe I'll shoot a macro of it and use that for a while. --Mike K. Ptarmigan
I decided to edit this post, as I changed my Avatar. It is now a photo of my lovely old Æola Baritone. Cheers Dick Edited January 28, 2009 by Ptarmigan
Lakeland Fiddler
My avatar is a photo someone took of me while I was performng on stage at Fiddle Hell in Buxton UK. This was my first public solo performance as a fiddler and was memorable because I had just taken possession of my new instrument, a Bridge Siren. I wonder how long it will be before I have a photo of my first solo concertina gig

Brian Peters
My 100-year-old Crabb Anglo, in my hands. Other body parts erased by the wonders of photomanipulation, to provide an uncomplicated background for the 'Anglophilia' CD liner notes.

wntrmute
My avatar is a scale representation of Planck Length. Not many people get that, though. I may change it to a picture of the line between inspiration and insanity.
