David Colpitts
I, too, look forward to the Squeeze-In. In fact, from the time we leave after lunch on Sunday, I look forward to it for a year! See you tomorrow. David
Jim Besser
Yay Ken. I'm leaving tonight after Morris practice. The annual gathering of the tribe.
David Barnert
I’ll be there by dinner time Friday. I’m an hour away in Albany, so the timing depends on when I can get out of work.
Jody Kruskal
I'm going again after a few years hiatus. What a hoot! See you all there.
bellowbelle
Thinking of you all, kind of wish I were there too! Haven't been to NESI in a few years at least. Maybe the next one... Nice weather I think, this time. I am near Worcester MA but I think it's about the same weather today.
Ken_Coles
I'm in the Button Box "shop" here at NESI and Jody is honking away on one of the stock baritones. There are a _load_ of concertinas in stock. Always an evil temptation to show up here, dangerous for one's checkbook. By the time Jim Besser's hornpipe session really got rolling this morning about 20 folks were in the room (only one accordion). Ken
David Barnert
Well, it's done, and a great time was had by all, as far as I could tell. High point for me was reconnecting with an accordion player from near Zurich, Switzerland who I met a few years ago when Julie and I went to a contradance that he and his wife run. It was I who encouraged him to come to NESI, and now, here he was. We had an hour or so to play together after breakfast this morning and taught each other a lot of great tunes. I also want to thank everyone responsible for allowing me to get through the whole weekend without once hearing Josefin's Waltz.
Doug Barr
After some crazy traffic coming back onto Staten Island Diana and I are home. What a great weekend of music, old and new friends. Edited September 25, 2017 by Doug Barr
David Colpitts
I couldn't agree more with the consensus on the Squeeze-In. My only problem now: What the heck to I do with a Chemnitzer??!! Ah, the impulse to buy free reeds.... David

I tried to stop it, but failed. It was a great weekend. Lots of concertinas, lots of great players. Our Swiss friend was my roommate, and he was a delight.
