Bob Tedrow
I’ve added a draw C# to a modest ( though fully functional) Trinity College concertina on RH top row 2nd button. will that satisfy those who often hunger in vain for a modest concertina upon which to learn trad Irish concertina? https://www.facebook.com/groups/809436883276884/permalink/1085014015719168/?mibextid=cr9u03 let me know if this link fails. It’s just a hair too large to post directly on Cnet Bob
Takayuki YAGI
If Jeffries, draw C# on 1st button and push C# on 2nd button will be needed, I suppose.
Bob Tedrow
From my experience, most people prefer the first button too RH to have a push C# rather than a pull C#
Leah Velleman
So a normal Jeffries looks like this: First push: something else First pull: C# Second push: C# Second pull: something else Some people, like Dana Johnson, do an extended Jeffries with an additional C#, so it looks like this: First push: C# First pull: C# Second push: C# Second pull: something else It sounds like you're proposing this: First push: C# First pull: something else Second push: something else Second pull: C# Which is cool, but it's really completely inside-out from what a Jeffries has on those two buttons, and only a little overlapping with the extended Jeffries. I'm not sure how useful it would be. Or am I misunderstanding your description?
gcoover
Or... just make every button in the top row C# in both directions. 1
Bob Tedrow
My point is that there is little consensus on what comprises a Jeffries system
genepinefield
Hi What do you think about synthetic leather gussets deteriorating over time and forming holes? Also, if you were to replace it with genuine leather, how much do you think it would cost?
