This item is not made by Wheatstone; it is a Jones, there are several identifying aspects in the photos and still the seller is claiming it as a Wheatstone . Caveat Emptor!

They also think it is an English and that the end plates are brass. At least they have added an update mentioning the George Jones logo, even if they still think it is a Wheatstone.

model 6 would in fact have been an English - they just seem to be rivited by the alleged match of the 5 digit number...
