Jim Besser
Hey Jim, At my dance last weekend we played Parry Sound Reel (G) and Jingle Bells (D) in a set with something. First waltz... It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, last waltz... Silent Night Nice! At the Glen Echo Open Band this month we did Silver Bells as the first waltz - with one of the fiddlers doing a great job singing it. tona
Auld Lang Syne on G/D Anglo concertina. Happy New Year 2015!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJ_4b0XJXew I like this! Auld Lang Syne on G/D Anglo concertina. Happy New Year 2015!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJ_4b0XJXew Very nice! I was trying to figure out how we could slip Auld Lang Syne into a contra dance set for a dance we're doing on Jan 2. Just for fun and made very quickly (sorry for the kick, my recorder was on the ground). Test in 6/8 rythm and "polka" rythm... https://www.dropbox.com/s/9zc0i5bq7fhs5vj/auld%20lang%20syne.mp3?dl=

Ollie
Better late than never! Here's my first attempt at recording something on my 64 key Maccann. As you can hear, it needs a tune, so apologies for interesting harmonies (unfortunately, the instrument's condition is no excuse for my playing...). I've been playing on and off for around 6 months, but only recently got an instrument of my own. Anyway, here is the Sheffield carol Jacob's Well - https://soundcloud.com/olliekingbox/jacobs_well
