LDT Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 .. Is this the only Concertina Stephen Chambers doesn't have? That's sooo cool. A Klingon concertina. (erm..how did you chance upon this one then....are you a secret Trek-y?)

PeterT Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 .. Is this the only Concertina Stephen Chambers doesn't have? That's sooo cool. A Klingon concertina. I'm not familiar with this brand. Would I be right in thinking that it does not require hand-straps?

By the way Peter, are there enough Bellow Folds for you on that model?

PeterT Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 By the way Peter, are there enough Bellow Folds for you on that model? Far too many; you could skip over it!
SteveS Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 (edited) .. Is this the only Concertina Stephen Chambers doesn't have? I liked the reference to it also being used as a weapon. Answers on a postcard please for the concertina characteristics that could most usefully be used as weapon..... Edited November 24, 2008 by SteveS

I remember my old Scottie would howl at the wind, every time I picked the darn thing up & started to play!

I'd like Brian Peters' take on this one ....... closest to the action, yet he missed what was going on! Bet you've seen the video, Brian. OK guys and girls. New thread anyone? "Which type of concertina flies best, Anglo, English, or Duet?".
asdormire Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 With all the extra bellows you could use it like a morning star. Alan
Daniel Hersh Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 (edited) Are you sure that he doesn't have one? Is this the only Concertina Stephen Chambers doesn't have? Edited November 24, 2008 by Daniel Hersh
Ptarmigan Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 Are you sure that he doesn't have one? Is this the only Concertina Stephen Chambers doesn't have? Daniel, I know he's been just about everywhere, tracking them down, but, what with that pesky 'Cloaking Device' of theirs, I doubt if he ever managed to catch up with them! So, I reckon that if there's one missing from his collection, it's bound to be this one.
Pete Dunk Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 It doesn't have the panache of The Blue Meanie!
Ptarmigan Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 It doesn't have the panache of The Blue Meanie! O.K. but I'll let YOU tell that to the KLINGONS!!!!!
David Levine Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Since eS'tefn Çamberis is well know throughout the universe as the preeminent concertina dealer in all of Q'onoS he is no doubt familiar with such instruments.
