Geoff Wooff
Thanks Leo, how do you find them ? Patience I guess. Well, I really enjoyed the Ernest Rutherford piece,( or should that be Rutterford ?) which, if I am not mistaken he played on the Maccann Duet, with lovely control. Excelent !! Keep up the good work and all the best, Geoff.
Wolf Molkentin
The second video is intriguing: fairly fluent playing of two reels on a bottom-of-the-line 20-button-Stagi... (and many of us know how it looks like inside these boxes...)
Wolf Molkentin
...and regarding the US: Does this mean you're keeping up with your Holmwood TT (which I find beautiful in any respect), Michael? (howsoever: well done, again)

gcoover
I like that midi Star Wars TIE fighter concertina, looks like it too is powered by some sort of Twin Ion Engine. I wonder if there is a way to program in all sorts of fun effects? Gary

Leo
Thanks Leo, how do you find them ? Patience I guess. Well, I really enjoyed the Ernest Rutherford piece,( or should that be Rutterford ?) which, if I am not mistaken he played on the Maccann Duet, with lovely control. Excelent !! Keep up the good work and all the best, Geoff. Hi Geoff Patience, tenacity, persisence in the unrelenting search for the elusive hidden concertina videos. Plus the judicious use of the secret search term "concertina" in the world of the magical search engine Google.com, based in the US. It starts with something like this and it's self updating automatically all by itself without help: http://www.google.com/#q=%22concertina%22&num=100&hl=en&safe=off&tbo=s&tbs=vid:1,sbd:1,qdr:w&ei=ZHy-S6v0AsGqlAfp6uH2Bg&sa=X&oi=tool&resnum=5&ct=tlink&ved=0CDMQpwU&fp=b93a0d9d32199aa3 In a pinch, I've used Google.co.Uk and others, and they all produce different results. Then the copy/paste commands to make a list in Notepad, sorted by first found country, and compatible with the self imposed standards of excellence of a two fold criteria: 1. can it be seen, and 2. can it be heard and/or identified. It can be a really tough decision of either/or or both to keep such high standards. Lots of work, but nowhere near as much work as those that actually make them and put them up for our enjoyment. They deserve the real credit. Thanks Leo

I was overlooking the detail provided in the valuable little booklet accompanying the 3CD Set 'English International' in which there is another good wxample of his playing. Mick O'Connor's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYnhj4bZJDs&fmt=18 __________ Thanks Leo Thank you Leo for more fun once again. Glad to hear the doggy in the window was howling in concert pitch as opposed to the singing hounds, or were the boxes a few cents off?! The words in that nicely sung Mountains of Mourne (vinteresting midi sound, even with the clack on the buttons)are not so clear; but some phrases seem interestingly connected to the same theme as in the supa new verses for the "Maid from Portsmouth" ( no relation to the Rwy'n Caru'r Ferch o Blwyf Penderyn - The Maid From The Parish Of Penderyn" - they don't do that in the Valleys you know! BUT - the Welsh toon may just do the business for Rudi & John's words, so I will post the midi over there at: http://www.concertina.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=13416
