ido
I've seen House MD not long ago and I happened to notice a concertina so I had to find out which one it is.
Ransom
It looks an awful lot like it says Gremlin on the side. But judging by everybody's hats, it must date to a little bit earlier than the "golden period" at the turn of the Twentieth, eh? =) Edited December 13, 2010 by Ransom
CaryK
Looks like they've put it into the wrong time period though; costumes could be Elizabethan.
JimLucas
Looks like they've put it into the wrong time period though.... To many folks these days, anything that's not electronic is automatically "medieval". Sort of like Manhattanites thinking of everything west of the Hudson River as "Indian Territory". Randy Stein
Some years ago I was part of a musical act Bello & Stein. Joey Bello played mandolin and I the EC. Our agent sent us on an audition for a Renaissance Fair in upstate NY. After we played and did a small portion of our show the director of the audition pointed to my concertina and stated "I don't know why you are here. We are only hiring real Renaissance musicians". To which Joey replied 'Wow, they must be really old'. We did not get the gig. rss
