I have EasyABC version 1.3.5
I tried downloading the current version 22.214.171.124 and Norton Antivirus removed it as unsafe!!
The report does say the risk is medium, but still I have rarely encountered a program which my antivirus software removed.
As it happens, I have archived copies of 1.3.5 and 126.96.36.199 on my (old) W7 machine, as well as 188.8.131.52.
1.3.5 does not seem to display line numbers at all (which possibly ties in with another poster, reporting
no line numbers on his Macintosh).
184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11 both display line numbers - in a readable size (same size as the ABC code in the
code window). [I have two other W7 machines running 18.104.22.168 where I have seen these small line
numbers - Oh, what fun we're having!!!]
I think I may copy the 22.214.171.124 version across to the W10 machine and see what happens.
As far as I can see, the only difference between 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52 which 'affects' me is that 184.108.40.206
has a tick-box which allows one to follow the toon as it plays - the heads of the notes flash red as the
notes are played. Sorta useful, but absolutely not essential...
Another of life's little mysteries, destined to remain unexplained, probably...
I think I'll just pretend it never happened...
LATER: I now see I also have a copy of 220.127.116.11 on one of my machines - that one shows the line
numbers in a readable size also...
