Myself, as someone whose played concertina for 34 years now, between doing other things too ( art and design).. maybe that's one hint; keep your hands supple, relax when you play, to avoid tensing up the tendons and rest between practicing; you do not have to overdo the physical practice, I think personally, as a lot of intuitive development also takes place in the mind as well .
