Can anyone tell me anything about this concertina I found?

I have had this concertina I found for over ten years. I’m wondering if anyone can tell me ANY info about it based on looks. I really appreciate it. I can tell it’s old and would love some experienced enthusiasts to help

It's an English Concertina; that's for sure. 

And the Wheatstone name, mentions a being 'late of ....20 ... Street ( cannot make out rest). It looks like a nice find to me, and visually at least not bad condition.

As someone that plays more modern Anglo system, I do not have enough knowledge of this system to really say too much, however that name, along with how it seems to be in good physical order, will make it quite sort after.

Furthermore, you seem also to have the original box, with label too! What a good one to own.

As far as I can see, none of the pictures shows a serial number. Can the OP find one?

 

I was waiting for someone else to say this, but no-one has, so now I have.

The case at least is identical to mine for my Duet from the 30's except for the label which reads the same but is a red oval.  The penta=shaped leather piece on mine is half torn through I'm envious!  I'm not sure if the case is original to the instrument though.

Thank you. I’m planning on selling it. It’s good to know it’s in great condition for being so old! The serial number has fallen off somehow on both sides. Seems blank on that oval part. So it’s valuable?

It is a Wheatstone Model 21.  Not Wheatstones top model but will still a very good player when restored.

The only thing I noticed different with the model 21 images is this one doesn’t have a hollow cut out above where the serial number plate would be.
