nicx66
some fun i have been having. I got the idea after reading an article about bears being re-classified as tool users. these models are really a combination of origami and paper craft. The hand rails are apple wood and the straps are birch bark. The bear is made from one square of paper. the concertina is made from 3 separate rectangles of paper. I used birch bark for the veneers and book matched them (on the bear), hence a book matched birch bark bear playing a button box. I still have a ways to go. maybe a frog on the fiddle? alliteration abuse Edited April 6, 2016 by nicx66
bellowbelle
That's so great! I love it. I've wondered every now and then about a way to make an origami bellows. I like to do a little bit of paper crafting -- have tried some simple kirigami but nothing too complicated.
Takayuki YAGI
Amazing great! I saw rectangular origami bellows somewhere (if you googled 'Papernica' with image option, some photos will come up), but hexagonal is superb!
nicx66
The concertina is, of course, a baritone. Sorry, I could not help it
mathhag
Can you direct me to some instructions for making an origami concertina? I have looked around but only find partial ideas. I have done quite a lot of origami. Thanks
