  3. Hello Eddy, you can buy buttons from a seller on Ebay who lives in Ireland. Here is his listing: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Set-of-31-Quality-Concertina-Parts-Buttons-Stainless-Steel-/111051498386?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Keyboard_RL&hash=item19db2f6392 You can also check: http://concertina-spares.com/ I believe the seller of concertina spares lives in Wales. Other people from this forum may also point you to other sources. Good luck with the restoration project. IT would be nice to see a picture one day of your restored concertina.
  4. Thank you, Naomhy. I am finally getting my brand new Colin and Rosalie Dipper concertina this summer and must make a payment on the new 40 button anglo. It would be nice to own a Dipper and a Steve Dickinson Wheatstone but due to financial restraint and commitments I can only have one fo the two fine instruments. Regarding the packaging of concertinas...I see that it is a necessary to pack a concertina well for shipments overseas because the concertina reeds get shaken alot.
