Craftydab
Am considering the purchase of a Vintage Anglo. Would not purchase privately as insufficient knowledge to make an informed decision. So....would anybody have any recommendations for a trusted Uk dealer. Any help appreciated, many thanks.
Wolf Molkentin
From all I've been hearing, you couldn't go seriously wrong with approaching Chris Algar / Barleycorn. Best wishes - Wolf

OLDNICKILBY
Talk to David Robertson in Norwich. Great Restorer and a lovely Bloke You could also talk to Andy Norman in Shropshire, highly recomended Nic
Craftydab
Thank you one and all. Enquiries made so let’s see what happens. It has also raised the question of vintage or new build but at my age waiting time could be a crucial factor!
Craftydab
Just to conclude the topic, purchased a Lachenal from Chris Algar. No pressure, no hard sell, try before you buy. In fact try as many as you like! Thanks for recommendation.
busterbill
I purchased a Conner from Chris Alger years ago sight unseen. He was completely fair in his price and the description of the instrument. As I was in the US, finding a number of instruments to try was out of the question. It has kept me very happy for years.
