How about the example "Bonfire Tune" I posted at the first, do you think that will work ok? Kindle versions of music books are "print replica" and not flowable text, so yes, I suppose the size of the reading device could make it a little problematical. You might have to learn the A parts and B parts separately! Gary In Musescore right click anywhere on the page except staves! click 'Style' in the left column click 'Page' scroll down to 'Disable vertical justification of staves' move your cursor over 'max.system distance' highlight the figure in the box and use your up/down keyboard arrows or use the ones in the box You'll see the distance change in real time. ... if you don't like the plonky piano playback, right click the space in any bar choose 'Stave, part properties' click on 'Change instrument ... I use 'Free reed' > Accordion. Edited November 14 by xgx

Awesome, thanks! Just now having to migrate to MuseScore after the "FU" email that Finale sent to all their "valued customers", so learning how it works bit by bit. It's fairly intuitive so far, and actually a lot quicker for doing the numbering and overhead lines. There's a fine line between keeping the staffs separate enough so it's not one big jumble, but I'll experiment. See attached re-do of the Bonfire Tune. Really appreciate the tip! Dan Worrall Posted November 16 Posted November 16 I just ordered it....another great book from Gary! I know a fair number of these tunes already, and it will be good to add a few more in case I get over to Old Blighty next year. A pint and some tunes would be wonderful.
gcoover Posted November 24 Author Posted November 24 Now available in Kindle, with the stave spacing adjusted for better readership on Kindle devices. Gary
