Concertinas in London

Hello,

 

I'm wondering what concertina related attractions are available in London, UK. This can include makers, sellers, performers (including Morris dancing), group lessons, and history.

 

Probably because this is a niche interest, there wasn't much I was able to find aside from a couple of music stores. Curious about anyone's knowledge on this.

Well, there are several of us in London who play concertinas. The lunchtime session on the first Sunday of each month generally has a few concertinas as well as fiddles and blowey things, and not many melodions.

Greenwich Morris Men use a concertina, as do Madder Mill Molly of Carshalton, Surrey and North Wood Morris Men, Croydon. All three sides were part of the North Wood Morris Men London Tour on Saturday 10th December on the South Bank.
