A Concertina Caterpillar

Recommended Posts

G'day All,

This Easter just past in Oz we celebrated the 50th National Folk Festival. It's quite an event, folkies and all sorts come from all over the country. There were easily more than fifty concer players. With the coming together we were able to stage a little "stunt" to draw attention to concertinas.

Here tis. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVXfH-6BoBg

Enjoy.

Cheers Steve

Looks like a lot of fun, Steve. But you, as I presume the sole English concertina player (?), looked rather lonely on the outside of the circle at first!

Cheers

Dean

Nice!

Confirmed for me that:

Springtime... really must be a popular tune/song in Australia.

I have just learned this tune 'off the page' and it seems that,

I have advanced far enough to be able to pick up a tune from

a score, play it, and have it sound approximately like the real

thing. Progress at last!!!

Ta.

Roger
