scoopet
I'd like to buy an earlyish brass reeded treble...... Not worried if it's concert pitch. Baffles would be good and hence nice and quiet.......so as not to wake the baby....... All the best from Devon, Simon
Geoff Wooff
Have you tried baffling a steel reeded treble Simon ? It would save you enough to buy the babies a drum kit for christmas. A nice bit of close woven felt tacked to the inside of a wooden ended Treble and if that's not enough tack a bit more to the outsides...... Or are you feeling the need to build up the stable encore ? conzertino
My friend Rainer Süßmilch uses thick leather baffles in his Model 22, as it was too loud to sing to. It has a lovely jazzy sound now: Check out his recordings on my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/concertube
