Geoff Wooff
Melody in A Major (It's All in the Game) This video from Jim Bayliss; I assume Jim is using his 46 key Wakker Hayden for this. The point for me here is the speed of air consumption on a small sized Duet.He appears to be using a lot of bellows movement. With a range almost as wide as my 57 key Maccann the Wakker is only 6 1/3" accross. This makes for a fine handy sized instrument but maybe one might think to ask for a longer bellows if the intention, or habit, is to use large chords. Thanks for the links Leo, Geoff. Azalin
Thanks Leo. Good stuff from Cormac Begley and Jack Talty ... as one might expect! Cheers, Dick Woaaa... yes! Amazing. I never heard of them before. I can't believe how enjoyable these two concertinas are to listen to when played together. Also, the first tune, Joe Ban (?) is a tune Tim Collins once taught me in a workshop and I haven't played it for ages... I will go back to it and play it a lot from now on, although not half as well as they play it.
