conzertino
Last year at Witney I bought a lovely Aeola bass off Chris Algar. However he wouldn't tell me, who restored it for him ( and did a phantastic job! ). I have a few questions and would like to discuss the bass-valves.... Anybody knows? wes williams
Maybe Chris did it himself, and didn't want to say. Or even that their was more than one person involved. But if you have a question about the valves, why not ask Chris?
d.elliott
is there any repairer's mark, or code inside? Dave
Chris Drinkwater
Ipswich-based concertina repairer and restorer Mike Acott does quite a lot of work for Chris Algar. It could be him. Chris
Stephen Chambers
Ipswich-based concertina repairer and restorer Mike Acott does quite a lot of work for Chris Algar. It could be him. Is Mike still active as a repairer? (He told me a couple of years ago that he was retiring, and his website seems to have disappeared... )
