Alan Day
Some of who have been here a long time can surely remember some past postings that have been either hilarious or important. The one I remember clearly was The Folk Camp story of the extremely obese cook. I wonder if any of you can remember the past gems for our more recent members. Leo
Hi Al Pink beads and a swimming contest come to mind. A concertina calendar for charity. A 7 part playlist from Simon Thoumire titled self portrait from last year. http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=1516B8EF804A4C92 Thanks Leo
Chris Timson
Here's a thread from the heyday of the Accordion Mailing List, precursor to rec.music.makers.squeezebox and, in the 1990s, the hangout for all free reed players on the Internet, which I suppose also makes it a precursor of this august forum. Here in all its glory is the Albertiddle Saga. Chris

Alan Day
From memory this cook became so large that she could not get out of the building and they had to use a helicopter to get her out through the roof. Al

drbones
I rather enjoyed the limericks string started by LDT. I see it's been over a year since it's been added to. Maybe I'll get into a creative mood and dredge it back up.
