Bob Tedrow
This was a special instrument for a person with small hands. The outside dimensions are the same, the fretwork, button spacing and handrest are about 10% smaller than a standard model. uncompleted top on left is a standard instrument for comparison. Alan Day
Firstly Bob I would like to compliment you on the appearance of this concertina. The fretworking is excellent and the gold blocking on the bellows finishes off a very nice looking concertina. The position of the handrest is suprising from your picture I would have thought that it would have been nearer the buttons. It would appear from your photos that the finger length would have to be large to stretch to the buttons. No doubt your daughter has tried it however and it is OK.
