  3. Try to find a pub session and listen to some great playing .Take your concertina but beware ITM is played at quite a swift pace .Bob
  4. I have just started playing again after 4 months the pain has eased .Its surprising how rusty I have got in that time. Bob
  5. Three months ago I damaged the Nerves in my R/H Index Finger and damaged the knuckle ,My finger constantly feels as though its burning .I feel it might end my playing . Bob
  6. I often go to Play and sing .Sessions at different clubs .Very often it is dominated by Guitars who play all manor of Pop songs some are happy for me to play along .My Question .-Once I identify the key is it better to just play a Pentatonic Scale and although for Major this excludes the 4th and 7th Interval can I play the 4th Chord of the Scale which I might play as an arpeggio or broken chord .I am not very good at music theory so tell me how you deal with this situation . Thanks Bob
  7. Still for sale as I was not happy to send it by post . Can be viewed in Penzance or by arrangement next time I am in Bristol .Bob
  8. I have been using my Anglo for several years now and although not leaking they are shoeing signs of wear on the bottom. Can I remove the ends and put them back on in a different position ?.Thus moving the worn side facing another direction . Bob
  9. Would like to sell this in the UK . I am travelling from the 1st of May .Dorset and Berkshire can take it with me if requested. I also travel to Bristol regularly If you would like to try it out . Bob
  10. Yes for sale I would like to sell in the UK if possible. Bob
  11. I was recently playing some ITM in a noisy pub and noticed that I could not hear what I was playing and so had to but out of the tune being played .Am I alone with this or am I missing something ? Bob
  12. I was listening to a U Tube video recently about Singing Harmonies .A nice tip I heard was to take tunes that you know and try to play them in several different keys by (ear) . Many tunes will be possible .Try in the keys of C,G,D.A and F to start with .This teaches you that once you find the start note where to find next note .Once you have done that you can also sing and try to find the chords that go with the song . Again do it in several keys just playing Chords .Hope that helps . Bob
  13. No but I am sure if you go onto Andrew Normans Website you will find one .The concertina is loud and quite fast .Thanks Bob
