Paul Read
Gents and Ladies, I received the following from a contact in Ireland. I believe there is a place where stolen items can be listed. Anyone remember? "By the way, a lovely Wheatstone concertina, serial no 29481, was stolen from my son here in Ireland in 1999 and if ever you come across it I would be most grateful if you would let me know. Perhaps, you might pass on this info to anyone who you might think would be in a position to come across it"

Ken_Coles
Yes, it is our oldest listing on this sad list. If you have any updates on contact info etc. please let me know (or if any instrument listed as stolen is recovered). Ken
malcolm clapp
Yes, it is our oldest listing on this sad list. If you have any updates on contact info etc. please let me know (or if any instrument listed as stolen is recovered). Ken One of my customers has recently lost a fully functioning and restored Wheatstone English 48 key treble, no. 36467, 6 sided ebonised ends, metal buttons, black 6 (?) fold bellows, in a custom made and unusually attractive birds-eye maple veneer plywood case. If any readers in Australia (or elsewhere) should come across it, please can you let me know. However, I must emphasise that it has been lost rather than stolen, so please be gentle with it's current possessor and save the hospital bed for a more deserving case. Ken, can we add it to the list? Thanks. MC Edited February 20, 2006 by malcolm clapp
