Guest
Hi All, Here is a great web site to hear field recordings of many of the great Traditional Irish musicians, including Elizabeth Crotty, John Kelly, Tommy Peoples and many others: RTE Ceolnet The tunes can take a minute or two to load, and I had trouble getting it to work at all when I had dial-up connection (it works fine now with a cable internet connection). Enjoy! Cheers Morgana [Edited to fix url above - thanks Henk ] Edited February 15, 2004 by Morgana

Michael Reid
Has anyone gotten RTE Ceolnet to work on a Mac? When I go to the site it opens up a Windows Media Player window (Mac version 9 for OS X) and says "Connecting ..." but nothing happens.
RustyBits
Thankyou! Thank you! Thank you! Great site! And Henk. . . I am severly jealous that you can work in your garden. . . it has been below zero here in Maine for a month! I like nothing better than to sit in my garden and play! James Hu
Has anyone gotten RTE Ceolnet to work on a Mac? No luck for me either using both IE and safari. The source code on the page only discriminates 'Netscape', assuming non-Netscape to be MS IE. No mention of either IE on Mac or Safari. Presumably the streaming techniques are different. grumpyhermit
I just tried to click on the link and the page that came up said that CEOL has been discontinued. Bob
