David Barnert
In attempting to help Alan Day upload his mp3 file, I have run up against messages in the attacment pane of my browser window that say things like: Attachment space used 4.39MB of 4.39MB and Max. single upload size: 9.01K How do I free up space to upload files bigger than 9K? PeterT
How do I free up space to upload files bigger than 9K? Hi David, Go into the Control Panel, and, with a bit of searching (scroll down) you will find an option to "Manage Attachments". If you click on this option, you can review all of your attachments, by size (and view the posts to which they are attached), and decide which ones to delete in order to free up space. Good luck! Regards, Peter.
Leo
Hi Dave Could I suggest deleting the older attachments first. Some of the newer ones if deleted, could make a post irrelevant without a picture, especially if people are still looking for something current. Just a thought. Thanks Leo
Daniel Hersh
And this is a good argument for hosting files elsewhere and linking to them rather putting them up as attachments here.
