Massimo G.
Hi, this is an attempt to play a sardinian dance tune on the concertina. The concertina part start at 1:22. I hope you will enjoy with it. Massimo passu torrau v.mp3
SIMON GABRIELOW
What a lovely tune; I like the mixture of different sounds, with the ( mandolin like?) Joined by concertina. Is it traditional melody? And is that first bit mandolin ( not certain).. Concertina adds that little surprise to the mix; really so pleasing. Massimo G.
Dear Simon, thanks for your nice replay. It is a traditional dance tune from Sardinia named "Passu Torrau". You may find several versions of it on youtube. In the recording I played mandolin, mandola, bouzouki and of course, concertina. Sardinian music is really fascinating and hypnotic. As well as Irish music it seems simple but, indeed, it is not so easy to play properly and it needs a lot of study. All the best
Richard Mellish
> It is a traditional dance tune from Sardinia named "Passu Torrau". I thought it might be, that being a dance I was taught a long time ago.
