  1. 2. Dear Simon, thanks for your nice replay. It is a traditional dance tune from Sardinia named "Passu Torrau". You may find several versions of it on youtube. In the recording I played mandolin, mandola, bouzouki and of course, concertina. Sardinian music is really fascinating and hypnotic. As well as Irish music it seems simple but, indeed, it is not so easy to play properly and it needs a lot of study. All the best
  3. Hi, this is an attempt to play a sardinian dance tune on the concertina. The concertina part start at 1:22. I hope you will enjoy with it. Massimo passu torrau v.mp3
  4. Gnossienne n°1 with the help of my sister on the harp. Massimo gnossienne_1.mp3
  5. I'm not even sure Italian words make sence, anybody Italian here? Can you verify? An Italian here ! The melody sounds like italian but I never heard this song. About the words: I can understand some italian words in the text for sure. Ciao Massimo
  6. Hi, I have organised a concertina workshop in ROME, in October, with Mary Mac Namara, the famous player from Tulla. In annex you may find the programm for the week-end. Mary is a fantastic musician and teacher so if somebody would like to spend a short holiday in Rome will enjoy the beauty of the town and of her music. Catherine McEvoy (flute) will join her. Everybody is welcome. For further detail you may contact me at msmgreco@libero.it Ciao Massimo locandina_newBN_EN.doc
