robert stewart
Yes, he's back. Two entries on Ebay today...both for the same fake concertina auction, same pirated text as always. Look for "Wheatstone Lachenal English Concertina". People are actually bidding!
David Levine
Not to be confused with The Phantom Button, who is a well-respected Anglo concertina player.
JenStClair
Is this the “pawn shop” who has a few listings up? I reported them all to eBay last night because they had a photo that said they would only sell for a BIN amount outside of eBay, which is against the rules. But they are still up this morning. Ken_Coles
This spammer is all over - a bunch of similar auctions appear for several orchestral instruments I follow (relics of my ancient musical past). Ken
LateToTheGame
It looks like they've been taken down.
robert stewart
It seems to me that the FBI could catch this fraudulent person by "following the money". But perhaps he/she is considered small fry. I found a substantial Ebay site yesterday evening, including the now famous full set of Uilleann pipes in B, and many other instruments. No concertinas. He should be squeezed until he bellows, until nothing is left but a reedy squeak. Robert
JenStClair
They’re back! Different seller. This is what happens when scammers hack into seller accounts, I imagine. they have 4500+ listings, and before now, it looks like this seller mostly sold DVDs.
