Stefan Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Somebody contacted me through my Website. He is interested in selling a Wheatsone Serial Nr. 31319 built 1926. The Wheatstone Ledgers say it´s a 48 key so probably an English. I don´t know what the abbreviations mean: N.P., K.V., W.S., can you help? Could someone estimate it´s value or maybe someone is interested?
Wolf Molkentin Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 nickel plated - key valve - wrist straps ?
Wolf Molkentin Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Robert has offered a model 21 (flat ends, lesser value and quality than a model 22 with raised ends) for 1.700 € some years ago - however, fully restored
Wolf Molkentin Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 but it should be added that 1926 is widely regarded as top period..., thus adding to the value in good shape, might be around 2.000 €
Stefan Posted December 4, 2018 Author Posted December 4, 2018 Thank you very much Wolf and good luck with your Crane, maybe hear you sometimes?
Wolf Molkentin Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 You're very welcome - and as to the Crane, I'm making good progress, but am still (confidently) working on a style which really adds to my EC capabilities, will keep the community updated of course. What about the Wendland meeting in 2019, any chance to see you there this time? Best wishes - ?
Stefan Posted December 4, 2018 Author Posted December 4, 2018 This time I think I can make it because it´s not on the 1st of May. We even might have a little Duett-Jam.
