Mr. Bellows
I'm not selling this one, I just noticed it and thought that those interested in Hayden system concertinas, might want to look at this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=16218
Jax
Doesn't look like it's the new "bellows strap" model. I played a fairly new Stagi a couple of weeks ago and it was a lot different from the one I bought in 2001. Much richer sound nowadays. clunt
I'm selling the concertina. This model does have bellows straps--I got it new in January. Is there any other way I can tell the difference between the two models?
JackWoehr
I think it's probably the new model, then -- like I said, the one I saw (I'm the same guy as "Jax" above) which was purchased this year has a richer sound than the one I purchased two years ago. So what kind of condition is it in? Did you treat it gentle when you were learning? Stagi bellows are easy to stretch out.
clunt
It's practically new. To be honest, I played it very little. I'm still interested, but the band I'm playing with is my first priority, and I want to work into button box. In theory I like the idea of the duet very much, but I don't have the time to dedicate to it right now, and I can't afford a new instrument without selling an old one. Radioboy
Hi Clunt, I tried to ask a question about this concertina using the ebay site and it came back as undeliveralbe. I got the answer to my question from the above post but you might check to see if ebay has screwed up somehow. Howie Leifer
Mr. Bellows
Given the interest in Haydens that I am always reading about here at concetina.net, I am surprised that your instrument has not had more bids! Likely, most of the action will happen in the last five minutes. It might help things for people to know what the reserve price is.
clunt
The reserve price is very reasonable As you can see, it has been met. I'll be happy to send this guy off to a warm home. I feel guilty for not playing it...
Chris Timson
I bottled out at $600. Hope its new owner enjoys it. Chris
