I have one of these and really love it (as I've said here before, probably many times). It's not my main concertina, and I don't think it would be a good main concertina for any but the the lightest use, but it is a lot of fun, easy to carry, and carries well in both senses--ie., small, and loud.

 

However, I'd think that even a person with small hands would be better off with a regular sized concertina. You can do a lot with the Stagi mini, but the 18 buttons does limit it, and I think continuous playing would be tiring for most people.

 

That said, I'm delighted to have one.
