Jim Burke Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 This seems like pretty good stuff for those few of us with room to improve. I learned about this from Junior Stevens, who apparently got the link from Paul Groff. http://www.creativitypost.com/psychology/8_things_top_practicers_do_differently
adrian brown Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 That makes for fascinating reading Jim, thanks for posting - loads of stuff there to think about. I have been trying to work along the broad lines of points 6, 7 and 8 for several years now, but I will now try to work on points 4 and 5 and definitely point 3! Adrian
Robin Harrison Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Thanks for spotting this Jim. I've distilled and personalised it so it is relevant to my practise (and it will print on one page.) Feel free to add comments. Robin Practice stratregies.pdf
adrian brown Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 I certainly like "the slower you go, the faster you'll get there", I'd perhaps just add "slower and steadier". I was trying to tell my 6-year old the same in the swimming pool only last week! Adrian
