alex_holden
A random thing I stumbled across while searching for something else entirely:https://newspapers.library.in.gov/cgi-bin/indiana?a=d&d=IJ19021007.1.3#From the Indianapolis Journal 7th October 1902 The musical Ravens are not musical. They play the maramba, an unnamed instrument, tin cans and horns and concertinas. The man Raven plays two concertinas at once. The day is past when a trick musical act will prosper without music. The Ravens cannot play horns well and the melody that they get from their own instruments is feeble. They will have to work at the music, not the tricks, if they are to get along.
