Ann-p
There is a page described as a ledger page along with a Lachenal anglo on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321068999355?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 The dates on the page bear little relation to the age of the concertina. I hadn't really paid a lot of attention to the page when I looked at the ebay page. There is so much verbiage written that I couldn't easily wade through it! I did however ask for the serial no, which he has posted. The second part of his message was about the page, which prompted me to take a closer look at the page. I have come to the conclusion that this might be a Lachenal page, or a page from another dealer maybe. The numbers seem to be Anglo and English serial numbers and the dates not too far adrift of those given on the dating list in the info pages here. If this is significant then perhaps someone should buy this concertina to preserve the page, but don't bid against each other! I won't be bidding. I had another look, page appears to be a copy, but the seller wrote this to me: canyou enlighten me as to why this was in the box, also with the name ofperson purchasing this concertina and the serial no i think as sameon my concertina please this would helpas i did assume it matched up/ ie the previous person kept all this together etcthank you Edited February 13, 2013 by Ann-p
