mikey
I'm selling a Kensington 30 button C/G anglo with the modified Jeffries layout that comes standard with the Kensington. The instrument is in excellent condition, only played at home. I have listed it on eBay, No. 230582809522. There is a pretty good description with the eBay listing but if you have any questions? Dana Johnson
This concertina was originally made with long and tall hand rests suitable for larger hands and or longer fingers. The rests can be exchanged from Kensington Concertinas for the proper size for your hands if desired. This offer is not related to the sale. I just like to see my instruments fitting properly. (it is an easy swap you can do at home ) Dana
Tom Rhoads
At the risk of sounding overly concerned with details, what exactly is the modification to the Jeffries layout? Thanks in advance, Tom
Dana Johnson
At the risk of sounding overly concerned with details, what exactly is the modification to the Jeffries layout? Thanks in advance, Tom On the right hand accidental row,the first button is a double C# instead of C# draw and D# press, The last button in the G row is F# on the Draw and F natural on the press instead of the more common high B. The lowest note on the G row left side is a low Draw A, which is relatively common among Jeffries,( though possibly not as usual as a second draw middle D.) This is the Standard Kensington Layout.
