I have just received the following message from Nanette's son:-

Hello my name is Douglas Steele, I am Nanette Hooker's son she has asked me to draft this message to you, can you please reply to me with receipt of this message

"Hello Chris, as you may have noticed I have not been on the concertina.net forum for a few weeks, on the 19th of February I had a second stroke and am still in hospital please can you advise other members of the forum and Mick Tems of my situation."

At present I know no more than this. I am happy to pass on any emails to her son if you send them to me.

Latest news from Nanette's son:-

Hi Chris, my mum is doing good, she is getting the use back of her hands slowly, although not as quickly as last time, she has been diagnosed as having an aneurism. She is still waiting for further news from specialist doctors concering the aneurism.

i have been let out of hospital but have been told that i will probably need surgery and will be sent to Brisbane for this. I have an appt on Monday to see the neurosurgeon in Townsville. I am typing one-handed which I find very frusytating. Thanks everyone for your concern.
