PeterT
Oh no, this is giving me ideas: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=H7TOvu8eTrg Make sure that you play the video twice, just to answer the question "Did he really do that?" Now I know why concertinas are more versatile than melodeons. Peter.
fiddlerjoebob
[quote name= "Did he really do that?" Just think how many times they had to practice that concertina-toss ending to make it look so unrehearsed and spontaneous, including the very convincing knock-on-the-head finally. fidjit
The cracked it! Peter I was there and talking to Simon Care, who was the concetina thrower at breakfast the next day. The Morse (which was pretty new No. 164) ended up with a crack in it and Saul Rose got a bump on the cranium! Simon had only borrowed the tina from the Music Room, that sponser him. Questions will be asked. As Simon and Saul have played together many times. The move is not new. SImon is a great teacher. I was with him all day Saturday. Great stuff. I was with Izzy Emeney on the Sunday and that was great too. Here's Simon dancing round the clay pipes. Chas Ps. er, it was a Melodeon workshop weekend.
