my allusion to jeffries concertinas not being donated to the irish referred to the references made on this thread and others about this or that dealer's selfless devotion to getting jeffries concertinas to the irish. and....appealing though this sentimental notion may be to some, the fact is that, um, these instruments are not being donated to the irish. again, i'm not saying there is anything nefarious about selling products for what the market will bear. i'm just saying, i have hit the "mute" button on the violins when it comes to that one....
