saltyd
So I'm looking to get an Anglo concertina. I had a $70 one I got off Ebay, but the bellows really creaked and made playing difficult. I sold it and I'd like to get a better one, but under $250 if possible. I know Rochelle is supposed to be a good beginner brand, and I also saw this cool looking blue one: http://larkinam.com/Concertinas.html Does anyone have any experience with this model? thanks
Wolf Molkentin
I also saw this cool looking blue one: http://larkinam.com/Concertinas.html Does anyone have any experience with this model? Well, the bellows will act effortless (as action/buttons won't presumably), but the sound will be rather squeaky. I would suggest staying off it... (I haven't come across this model by now, just recalling the nevertheless poor wooden Italian one I own)
RP3
I think you would be much better off getting a Rochelle than one of these other CSOs (concertina shaped objects)! Any extra expense will pay dividends in playability and reliability. Ross Schlabach
michael sam wild
I had a red one. They are well made but the price is high for what it is. They are fine for learning on and if I could get a cheap one I'd get one for our grandaughter aged 4, now if there was pink one!
