ChrisK
Brilliant! I have a vinyl record of the Mexborough Band with Steve Dickinson - bought it from a music shop in Leeds when they were selling off the last of their vinyl for next to nothing. Note to self: must listen to it again when I am back home - and possibly transfer it to CD. Chris
Mike Franch
Wonderful! Watched in twice, and sent it off to concertina playing friends.
Chris Drinkwater
Just for the record (no pun intended), the members of the quartet are Steve Dickinson, Rob McKie, Nigel Pickles, and Dick Miles. Dick also wrote the song. The presenter was Peter Sayers, a well-known folk singer and musician, who was born in 1942 and sadly died in 2005.
