Randy Stein
I was sent an audio file in rich text format (RTF) and need to convert to an Mpeg file. Anyone know of a free download for conversion. r

It is quite possible you got a message sent in RTF format to which some sort of sound file is attached. Take another look.

Michael Ducky Raley
RTF (rich text) can contain embeded OLE objects such as wav files You can try to open the file in wordpad to see if there is an embedded wave file icon
Randy Stein
Thanks. It was an attachment that had a corrupted file. That was the issue. r
