dussek
I have read a lot about concertina bands and have seen a lot of historic pictures of them. But I don´t have any idea how these bands might have sounded. Does anybody know a good recording?
Leo
I have read a lot about concertina bands and have seen a lot of historic pictures of them. But I don´t have any idea how these bands might have sounded. Does anybody know a good recording? Hi dussek I'm not sure of any older recordings or sounds, but there are a few modern samples. I can't imagine them being much different, other than better quality of the audio. Irene S.
And there is , of course, the Hawkwood Concertina Band recording released last year or thereabouts http://www.concertin...-and-tunes.html Edit: Sorry - I think this may be a duplicate link as Leo didn't give the name of the band in his earlier posting!
