Michael Eskin
Hi y'all, Just got word today that Apple approved my EnglitinaXL 48-button treble English Concertina app for the iPad: http://www.tradlessons.com/EnglitinaXL.html On the USA iTunes App Store: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/englitinaxl-48-button-english/id387316019?mt=8 I've put it on sale for the first week for $0.99. I'm very happy with how it turned out, really sounds great, and is very fast and responsive. I think it will be a great learning tool. Next up for approval is the wireless MIDI controller version: http://www.tradlessons.com/MiditinaXL.html Cheers and many thanks, Michael Edited August 22, 2010 by eskin
Dieppe
Michael, there's Canntina, but I can't find it searching from the iPhone App Store. Is it just delayed? Michael Eskin
No, To simplify things, I've removed some of the older apps that had sold less than only a few units when iOS4 was released. I can turn them back on at any time, but would have to spend the time updating them for the new OS and resubmit the updates to Apple. If there is interest I can update Canntina. Michael, there's Canntina, but I can't find it searching from the iPhone App Store. Is it just delayed? Michael Eskin
If anyone with an iPad wants a free copy, just send me a PM, the only restriction is you have to be on the US iTunes App store to redeem the codes I have to distribute. Michael Eskin
Finally posted a demo video for EnglitinaXL, this is the version 1.1 update with the Lachenal Edeophone graphics: I think YouTube audio recompression distorts things a bit, here's the same video on Facebook, which I think has better audio: http://www.facebook.com/v/440180382578 Again, if anyone with an iPad wants a free copy, and you use the US iTunes App store, just let me know! The version 1.1 update is now available on the iTunes App Store and will be available in iTunes as a free update to anyone who currently has the 1.0 version. Michael Eskin
One of my users suggested that it would be useful to show how the button layout of both Englitina and EnglitinaXL relate to the real instrument, so I put together these animations: Evolution from real instrument to EnglitinaXL (48-button) to Englitina (27-button): Evolution from real instrument to Englitina (27-button): The final graphics are from Englitina 1.5, currently in review with Apple and should be available as a free update around September 20th.
