michael sam wild
Apart from The Session (60,000 members) are there any good forums for discussion of traditional tunes (rather than the superb collections of the dots and ABC ) Does Mudcat do much?. I must admit I can't seem to get it to work for me. It seems so vast in its compass. Edited October 30, 2009 by michael sam wild

David Levine
There might be 60,000 members here but it seems as if there are only about 100 actively posting- if that many.
michael sam wild
Then those 100 are Spartans. It's a great source of tunes. Someone said on that site that 60,000 members meant 5,000 sessions at 12 per session. Not many worldwide How many could we generate if we were in the same place at the same time?
