Anglo Players In Essex

I have been recently thinking that there is a shortage of anglo players in Essex.

Apart from myself I can only think of three others - Roger Digby, Mike Avril and Bobbie Ritchie.

Does anyone know of any I have missed?

There's my old mate Colin Cater. And, like Chris, I'm an Essex exile (now living in Cheshire)

Hello Howard

I remember you well from the sessions in the Fox at Mashbury.

I'm so embarassed I missed out Colin - I was only having a tune with him a few weeks ago.

I have since thought of another Essex anglo player - I can't remember his name but he plays a Dickinson/Wheatstone for Harwich Morris.

Hi Howard,

Yes Paul McCann is still in Essex, playing his Dipper made Crane duet and his melodeon for Annie's Fantasies ladies morris.
