martyn
I have been recently thinking that there is a shortage of anglo players in Essex. Apart from myself I can only think of three others - Roger Digby, Mike Avril and Bobbie Ritchie. Does anyone know of any I have missed? Chris Timson
Do anglo players from Essex count? I was born and bred in Ilford; although I now live in Wiltshire I quite frequently come to Essex to visit my parents in Clacton. Chris
hjcjones
There's my old mate Colin Cater. And, like Chris, I'm an Essex exile (now living in Cheshire) Howard Jones

I'm so embarassed I missed out Colin - I was only having a tune with him a few weeks ago. I have since thought of another Essex anglo player - I can't remember his name but he plays a Dickinson/Wheatstone for Harwich Morris.
