Dieppe
I ran across this eBay auction for an "automatic concertina". I'm not going to bid on it, personally I want to play my instrument myself (more song selection!) but what does anybody know about these sorts of things? Stephen Chambers
... what does anybody know about these sorts of things? In fact the same auctioneer is selling two of them, but the other is the more usual square Tanzbar model with 28 keys. The square(ish) model turns up all the time, but the hexagonal one seems to be much less common. In fact I've only ever seen this 1931 flyer for it before: The subject of the Tanzbar has come up on C.net from time to time before.
Marien
They are rare and it's antique collectors that place bids on them, not necessarily players (so I am not going to place a bid either).
