Musescore will export in musicxml format, and EasyAbc (for one, no doubt other apps will do the same) will import musicxml and convert it to abc for you

Sorry Steve, that’s right, I just meant that Musescore doesn’t have a simple window with .abc text of the tune. You actually have to pay and register.

It would be easier if the layout was like  thesession, so people could post and share freely.

But it’s complicated, I understand why it’s like that. No problem.
